This has the latest and most modern equipmnent and has a wonderful piece of machinery, that washes, fills, sterilizes and crowns 80 bottles a minute. This equipment is of the latest design, and works perfectly.
In 1922 Wm. Scheele & Sons used 175,000 pounds of sugar. The city of Fort Wayne consumed from this factory 2,561.976 bottles of Scheele beverages.
They have seven trucks and they used during the year 9,500 gallons of gas.
They distributed 216,000 bottles of Green Seal Beverage in Fort Wayne and the surrounding territory consumed 1,241,322 bottles of their products. This is a wonderful showing for this concern.

The William Scheele & Sons Bottling Company operated (in Fort Wayne) from 1893 until it was sold in 1980 to the New York-based RKO General Inc. Their factory was located at 127 Harrison Street. They bottled a variety of colas and sodas under the Scheele brand name.

The acquisition of the 6.4 acres, which includes the distribution facility, located at 1207 N. Harrison St., will be for $4.5 million. Today, Mayor Sharon Tucker and Browning Real Estate Partners announced a major redevelopment of the former Pepsi warehouse site along the north side of the St. Marys River.
The project, to be named the Treeline District, will transform the north side of Riverfront Fort Wayne with public spaces, 250 apartments, and a parking garage.
