The newspaper article, Siblings learn of each other via Web by Frank Gray published January 24, 2012 in The Journal Gazette newspaperdiscussed a local Fort Wayne woman whose interest in genealogy helped her find a 1997 query a genealogist placed on behalf of a man who she then learns was her brother, a brother she did not know she had! I did not find the 1997 query, but did find a January 17, 2011 query on GenForum and Ancestry.com Message Board. So be sure you leave surname queries in various locations, because we never know when or where the "right" person will find them.

The Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indianahas a Surname Index of visitors who submit family surname information. They posted a photo of the registration screen and process on their April 29, 2014 Facebook page. They also have a Research Center that makes photocopies and conducts research for a fee.
