General Assembly, 61st, 1899 Publication date 1900 on Archive.org. It was organized October 26, 1888 as a Gatling Gun Squad, then as a Battery July 1, 1887, with many from Fort Wayne. BTW the Gatling gun was patented November 4, 1862 by Dr. Richard Jordan Gatling a medical doctor in Indianapolis.
