• 5 Apr 1893 The argument on a motion for a new trial in the Guenttner bastardy case were heard yesterday in Circuit Court.

• 10 May 1893 Justice Ryan yesterday dismissed the bastardy case brought by Miss Bertha Teucher vs. Joseph Ueber.

• 5 Aug 1893 Justice Ryan last night adjourned the bastardy case of Rosella Sarazen vs. Isiah Wyatt until 9 o'clock this morning. Wyatt is a conductor on the belt line.

• 14 Oct 1893 A case of bastardy brought against William Raquet of Bloomingdale by Miss Rosalie Bobay was called up in court yesterday afternoon. The young man consented to marry the young woman and the case was settled by marriage, Justice Ryan tying the knot. They left apparently happy.
