Overview & Location

The Masonic A.F. & A.M. Cemetery is located in Section 17 in Monroe Township on the north side of McDonald St. in Monroeville and is presently being maintained by the township trustee. Burials are no longer being made, and of those that have been made, several have been removed to the IOOF Cemetery aka Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Some of the markers are missing and many of those that remain are unreadable.

Plat
The cemetery was platted in 1875 as the "Monroe Cemetery" as recorded in Deed Book 67, pg. 27, Allen Co., Ind.
