• 2 Nov 1890 In the suit of state ex rel. Farvilla Brown vs. William Cummins for bastardy the prosecutor has filed proceedings against Alfred Marquet on bond of $400. The case was to be heard in Springfield Township and the defendant fled leaving his bondsman in the lurch.

• 4 Dec 1890 Frank Bube was bound over in the sum of $400 to answer a charge of bastardy preferred by Sophia Heck.
